the power of the tongue

The tongue has power; yielding either good or bad: its fruits simply depends on how one uses it. Actually many people are in certain situations, positions, or mood simply because of the way they have been using their tongue. I have tried to explore the mysterious power in the tongue using some examples.
Depending on how you have spoken it, a word can either build somebody or crush him; it can encourage him or discourage him. Words can invite peace, hope, and joy; at the same time, words can open a door for fear, anxiety and peacelessness. For instance counselors simply use words to restore the down trodden. Am simply trying to bring to light, the mysterious power that is hidden in this little member. How do you think people are able to pronounce a curse and it actually comes to pass? Well, if you don’t believe in curses, then possibly you will believe these other examples.
In Africa, people are given all sorts of names; one example is a child who was named “mwavu”. In English, this name can be translated “failure”. Amazingly this boy’s life has been seen to follow the direction of his name. First, he took 14 years to complete the 7 year primary school level. What rubbed salt into the wound is that his grades were too poor to usher him into high school. His parents out of their poverty then solicited some funds and opened a small shop for him, which was broken into by thieves six months later. He then tried cultivating but seems s like it’s only his field which was not productive! Misery clothes him whenever he sees boys of his age making tremendous progress; he has become like a desolate city, nothing that he does prospers. His opportunities only last a moment like a hired man. The sorry bit of it is that he is simply inheriting the fruits of his parents’ ignorance!
This is just one sample, but I have witnessed four more, also with very negative
